(From the September 2008 Newsletter)
Christy Scattarella, the founder of The Shadow Project, was recently honored as the Oregon Education Association's OEA Education Citizen of the Year Award for her a significant contribution to public education in Oregon. It is the Association’s highest honor for a non-member. In June, Christy was also named one of “100 Extraordinary Women” by Nabisco for her work with The Shadow Project. Congratulations Christy!
